Spam issue PDF Print E-mail

Back

If your e-mails are not delivered because they are caught by a spam filter, this article will give you some tips to avoid the problem...

Optimize your content

The main reason for an e-mail to not be delivered is that the content of the e-mail is flagged as "spam".
First of all, you should avoid including "spam words" like "Free", "Sex", "Pharmacy",... which increase your spam score.
Then, the spam score is also increased if you include too much HTML tags compared to the real text. So you're better having a simple and clean template rather than adding a lot of HTML tags everywhere.
A full Text e-mail will always have a lower spam score than an HTML one.

Make sure your server is not blacklisted

Please make sure that your server is not blacklisted on any spam filter.
You can use this website to check it : http://www.mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx

Remove the Acajoom Statistic Picture

If your e-mail is still flagged as Spam, you can try to remove the Acajoom Statistic Picture which could increase the Spam score of your e-mail.
You can turn Off this option in your Acajoom configuration page, tab "logs and stats".
The option you have to turn OFF is called "Enable read statistics".
