Captcha PDF Print E-mail

Back

There is actually no captcha system on Acajoom...

This is a planned feature but we think a captcha is not really user friendly.

So there is an other solution if you have spam registrations which is much better, it's called Bad Behavior .

This is a free plugin which stops the Spam registrations can be downloaded from the Joomla Extension Website...

For Joomla 1.0.x : http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/2081/details

For Joomla 1.5.x : http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/2891/details

Thank you Nathan for having posted this solution on our forum.

An other solution is to use jBounceBack to handle the bounce messages so that your list will be kept clean automatically!

Challenge over capcha

By: basstrup on 2009-Nov-19 08:31:34

capcha is a pita, I always prefer challenges like what is 4 +2 and then input the answer, or those that shows 4 pictures and you have to identify the right one

I think acajoom comerical version should give their customers the choice of using captcha. Its is really easy to use and not a real handicap for website vistors.

Captcha on the list

By: honeylane on 2009-Nov-04 20:49:52

we do receive some request for this functionality. As much as we can give you a date on when this is possible, It's on the process... Captcha is already included in the future features of Acajoom... maybe not acajoom but on jNews.
